Outline of Final Research Achievements

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for depression has been covered by the Japanese national health insurance since 2010, but the number of CBT therapists is limited. This study aimed to develop a consultation system to disseminate CBT for depression at medical institutions. We developed an online consultation program to help beginners practice CBT effectively. In addition, an internet-assisted CBT program that makes it easier for CBT trainees to conduct sessions was implemented with this consultation system, demonstrating CBT to be effective.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements
