Outline of Annual Research Achievements

高エネルギーニュートリノ、高エネルギーガンマ線、超高エネルギー宇宙線の三種類の高エネルギー宇宙粒子背景放射の起源について、2019年に提案した活動銀河コロナからの高エネルギー放射理論(Murase, Kimura & Meszaros 2020 PRL)の研究を深化させた。特に開発したマルチメッセンジャー放射コードを用いて近傍セイファート銀河からのニュートリノ信号の検出可能性を評価した。また活動銀河コロナと低高度銀河の高温降着円盤によってニュートリノ背景放射が統一的に説明できることを指摘し、降着円盤に存在する熱的電子による逆コンプトン放射でMeVガンマ線放射を説明する新しい可能性を見出した。更に超新星からの高エネルギー放射を包括的に計算するコードの開発を進め、特にマグネターと呼ばれる強磁場中性子星からのパルサー風によって加速された電子からの高エネルギー放射の詳細な計算を行った。いくつかの超新星についてALMAとNOEMAによる観測で得られた電波データの解析を行い、その結果と組み合わせることで極光度超新星のマグネターモデルへの重要な制限を得た。また可視光で観測された極光度超新星の光度曲線の変動をマグネターモデルで説明可能かどうかを調べた。マグネターは高速電波バーストの起源天体とも考えられており、系内マグネターSGR 1935+2154からのバースト放射機構について一般的な制限を行った。また活動銀河の降着円盤で起きるコンパクト連星合体について一般的な考察を行い、降着円盤風によるフィードバックの重要性を指摘し、その環境で起きるかもしれない継続時間の短いガンマ線バーストからの高エネルギー放射のモデルを提案した。

Reason

新型コロナウィルスの影響により、ポスドクのZhang氏の雇用が遅延した影響があった。研究会への出席、情報収集、発表や海外研究者との共同研究に支障があったものの、コンパクト天体からの高エネルギー放射のモデル構築などを中心に、概ね順調に進んでいる。

Strategy for Future Research Activity

粒子伝搬コードの開発を進め、活動銀河ジェット天体における宇宙線伝搬とそれに付随するニュートリノ放射と多波長電磁放射を計算するコードを完成させる。
