Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
計画3年目となる2022年度には、すばるHSC可視光サーベイの完了を受けてデータ活用の最大化を狙うと共に、eROSITAエックス線サーベイのデータとHSC可視光データとを組み合わせることによる活動銀河核研究を進めた。それぞれ、具体的な内容を以下に示す。 HSCデータを活用した研究成果として、近赤外線・中間赤外線サーベイデータとの組み合わせにより選出した「塵に深く覆われた活動銀河核」の一部について、可視光の短波長側でSEDが超過している現象に注目し、可視光分光観測によって、そうした天体に強力なアウトフローが生じていることを解明したことが挙げられる(Noboriguchi, Nagao, et al., 2022, ApJ, 941, 195)。更に、赤方偏移0.3<z<1.4の電波銀河について周辺環境を系統的に調査したところ、現在の宇宙では電波銀河が高密度環境で見られるという傾向が、昔の宇宙に遡るにつれてあまり顕著ではなくなっていくことを見出した(Uchiyama, Yamashita, Nagao, et al. 2022, ApJ, 934, 68)。一方、z=4.7という初期宇宙に存在する電波銀河HSC J0839+0113について、顕著な密度超過領域のそばに存在することを明らかにした(Uchiyama, Yamashita, Nagao, et al. 2022, PASJ, 74, L27)。これらは巨大ブラックホールの興味深い進化段階における特徴を捉えた結果として意義深い。 eROSITA-HSC共同研究についても、継続的なテレビ会議やプロジェクトごとの綿密な議論を経て、フィードバック段階にあるクェーサーの発見、中間赤外線で選択された活動銀河核の統計的性質、HSCで選択された電波銀河のエックス線での特徴、といった結果をとりまとめて論文として公表することができた。
