超高磁場発生のための高耐久高安定マグネットの開発技術および経済性運転技術の確立

Outline of Annual Research Achievements

以下の3項目について、研究を実施した。特に1)の項目については、昨年度から新たな課題として世界的に認識され、急遽実施した。
1)超高磁場下での電流分布シミュレーション・コードの開発:REBCO超伝導線が、超高磁場下では応力などの影響により、コイル形状変形が起こることが指摘され、申請者らもその様子をシミュレーションで確認してきた。そこで、コイル形状の変化とそれに伴う超伝導特性を考慮したシミュレーション・コードを開発してきた。該当年度は、特に、コイル変形に伴う電磁現象の変化、主にインダクタンスの変化に注目し、新しい解析手法を開発した。また、変形に伴い、巻線間の接触テープ面積が変化することから、巻線間接触抵抗が変化することをシミュレーションで明らかにした。
2)ダブルパーンケーキコイルの巻線間接触抵抗の測定:これまで、交流電流を通電し、シングルパンケーキコイルを対象に種々の条件下での巻線間接触抵抗の測定する手法を提案し、実測してきた。これまでに、詳細なシミュレーションにより、巻線間接触抵抗のより正確な値への補正の可能性が示された。その結果として、従来は適用不可と考えられていたダブルパンケーキコイルの巻線間接触抵抗測定に挑戦した。ダブルパンケーキの上下のコイルで巻線間接触抵抗が異なる場合も、しっかり計測できており、従来法である突然遮断法では計測できなかった個別の巻線間接触抵抗を計測できることを示した。
3)超高磁場マグネットの部分絶縁巻線技術の検討:大型高磁場超伝導マグネットでは、接触抵抗が小さくなりすぎて、励磁遅れなどの性能低下が懸念されている。そこで、近年採用されている複数枚バンドル・コイルの安定性を評価した。とくに部分絶縁巻線技術により、安定性の向上についてシミュレーションで検討した。電流分布の偏りが減り、効果的な手法であることを確認した。
