Outline of Final Research Achievements

In the modernization of the castle town city, I analyzed the use of space and its discussion from the perspective of "creativity of cultural landscape" based on the historical environment. The results revealed the following three points : (1)discussion on moat reclamation and preservation, (2)process by which the keep was preserved and the actual utilization of the keep, (3)conflicting ideas of preserving and destroying the natural beauty of the castle ruins in park design. I examined analytical methods for contextually stacking these results.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements
