Current Status of Research Progress |
Current Status of Research Progress
2: Research has progressed on the whole more than it was originally planned.
Reason
Due to the COVID19 I did not visit the field in-person, but with the help of the local research assistant I conducted all interviews and group sessions online. As planned, in the FY2020 I completed the following activities. 1. Analysis fo the legal and policy framework related to expropriation and compensation. 2. Conducted interviews with local people in the Aynak area, NGOs, and government officials. 3. Findings of 1 and 2 were presented in an academic conference. In sum, the targets for FY 2020 were satisfactorily achieved.
