Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In this research, I attempt to elucidate how important figures of the 15-18 centuries, such as Marcilio Ficino and G.W. Leibniz, explored a universal philosophy that holds everywhere and anytime within ancient texts. I clarified how the attitude to seek such a universal philosophy among the non-Christian ancients led the figures to include Chinese classics among the cannons of the perennial philosophy.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
