| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Reprinting of renga that had not been reprinted was conducted. A database of Renga Rule was created. A new database system "Kaguya" was created for the research of renga expression. A database of renga performed by the Edo Shogunate was created.
As described above, we have established a basic research system, database, and reprinted materials of renga of the Edo period, and have built a foundation for future research on renga of the Edo period.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
江戸時代の連歌は、文学史研究において遅れていた。しかし、江戸時代も宗教的な場では継続的に行われていた。連歌は、江戸時代の、宗教的、儀式的な文化を解明するうえで看過できない文芸である。本研究はその研究の基礎となる資料について、翻刻やデータベースを作成したので、今後、江戸時代の連歌の研究に有益と考えられる。
