Outline of Final Research Achievements

Taking up Eileen Chang 's literature as diaspora literature, I summarized Eileen Chang 's four transitions between Chinese and English writing, and explored Eileen Chang 's literary and cultural identity. I also researched the relationship between Eileen Chang 's novel “Little Reunions” and her non-fiction prose “Little Reunions”, as well as the fate of the latter.
I also continued my research on Japanologist writers such as Li Chang-sheng. I studied Li Chang-sheng 's books on Japan and attempted to understand them historically by putting them in the context of other Japanologist writers, such as Huang Zunxian and Zhou Zuoren.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements
