2021年度は以下の査読付き論文を発表した。

特に論文１は，川端康成のノーベル賞受賞スピーチ「美しい日本の私」のオリジナル日本語版とその英訳版との対訳コーパス構築と，主要な依存関係の依存距離を日英語間で比較した研究であり，将来的には本研究課題である文章中の文同士の関係を明示化するためのコーパスデータとして利用する予定である。

Reason
依存文法，そしてそれと関連した依存距離を指標とした，多言語間の構造特性の数値的比較についての研究に注力した。この分野での研究は，本研究課題であるテキスト中の文どうしの関係の明示化に貢献するものである。

| Strategy for Future Research Activity |
今後は，テキスト中の文どうしの関係の明示化に注力しつつ，最近の研究課題として注目している，文中で依存関係にある単語間の距離と，その頻度についての研究も並行して行うこととする。さらに，2022年度内に依存文法の理論的背景を概説し依存文法の枠組みにそって英文法の諸相を例文を通じて説明した書籍を出版する予定である。

| Causes of Carryover |
2021年度は国内での学会発表を行えない状況下であったため，国内旅費を使わなかった．さらに現在使用している物品で研究遂行に支障なかったため，新規に物品を購入しなかった．2022年度はPCの買い替えを計画している．
