Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
Project data collection and analysis continued in the 2023 academic year. The Principal Investigator co-authored one papers currently under review at a major international journal. The Co-investigators also maintained research output, including publication of a book on English as an Additional Language. This edited volume investigates the multifaceted elements that shape EAL pedagogy and research in a variety of settings and research areas, including linguistic ability influences on subject-specific skills, integrating learners’ home languages into classroom environments, and the importance of supporting EAL teachers in the classroom.

During the 2024 academic year, funds are required for the following reasons: 1) To pay for transcriptions costs related to interview data collection 2) To attend international conferences for the purpose of promoting our research
