Outline of Annual Research Achievements

Due the Covid19 pandemic, during the first year of our study it was impossible to involve participants in our study, and therefore during the second year of our study we have competed much of the work planned for 2020. We have designed and tested materials for the main eye tracking study through a series of small pilot studies. The materials are now completed and the participants for the study have been recruited. We have also applied for and received this approval for our project from the faculty committee. Presently, we are collected data, and plan to analyse this later in the year. We also planned to present the finding at a conference in February 2022, but had to cancel due to a national state of emergency.

Current Status of Research Progress

3: Progress in research has been slightly delayed.

Reason

The Covid19 pandemic resulted in difficulties being able to pilot materials in 2020. Therefore, we are slightly behind the original schedule.

Strategy for Future Research Activity

For the 2022 academic year, we plan to complete the data collection, and analyze it.

Causes of Carryover

Due to the COVID19, data couldn't be collected and therefore transcribing could not take place. Also, travel was limited so it was impossible to attend conferences for all three members of the research team.
