Current Status of Research Progress	Current Status of Research Progress 2: Research has progressed on the whole more than it was originally planned. Reason 化学兵器禁止条約の動向やシリア関連の動向をおおむね予定どおり追うことができている。研究のキー概念である国際社会の共通利益と各国の安全保障にとっての個別利益について、軍縮・軍備管理・兵器規制の観点からの論考2点（査読付き、英語）を公表した。M. Strategy for Future Research Activity	本研究の対象である化学兵器の使用に対する一方的な軍事介入について、2018年シリアの事例において、イギリスが人道的干渉を明示的にその正当化として言及している。そのためそれ以降の時期に、人道的干渉の枠組みから化学兵器への対応について議論する論考が多くみられた。本研究の計画書策定時期と重複する時期以降のことであり、当初の研究計画書ではこれらの論考への言及はしていない。このような、2018年シリアの事例に関連して人道的介入の枠組みを検討する論考発表は一段落したとみられるため、この事例における新発見の有無について、最終確認する。より一般的な研究手法については、最終年度は以下のことに留意する。2020年以降の感染症の影響で海外渡航を計画することが難しく、軍事専門家等との意見交換や交流を十分に実施できないでいるため、この点の改善を試みる。2022年3月にはInternational Studies Association の年次大会出席を試みたが、現地（米国）への移動・出席はやはり難しく、バーチャルセッションでのみ報告者・座長・討論者をつとめた。バーチャル・対面を問わず、最終年度では研究成果にフィードバックを得ることを重視する。
