Outline of Annual Research Achievements

The research completed with fieldwork in Okinawa in Jan-Feb 2023. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic during the first year 2020-21 it was not possible to do fieldwork in Okinawa, and the research adapted to accommodate this change. The focus of research was the same, but included not also responses to the corona virus. Three academic articles have been published in Scopus Indexed journals, and five public talks based on this research project were held, including four at international conferences.
