The final year of this KAKEN was dedicated to the concluding portion of this research project, including interviews and archival research, as well as to the writing of several publications. This resulted in the publication, in January 2023, of a book (in Italian) titled “The United Nations: A Critical Introduction”, which was published by Italy’s oldest and most prestigious academic publisher (established in 1791). Furthermore, I am currently finalizing a research monograph (this time in French) titled The Artisan of Peace: The Place of the United Nations in International Relations, which is expected to be published later this year. With my previous co-authored monograph on international leadership, these volumes are a result of this Kaken grant.
