Outline of Annual Research Achievements

この研究は、製造現場における改善活動と従業員の不安感の関係性について深く掘り下げ、その影響を明らかにすることを目的としていました。アンケート調査を通じて従業員の不安感と改善活動の成果について質問を行い、その結果を分析しました。研究の結果、従業員の不安感が改善活動や成果に対して正の影響を与えることがわかりました。この結果から、従業員の不安感や現状満足に対して適切な対策を講じることが、製造現場における改善活動の成果を最大化するために重要であることが示唆されました。

既存研究により日本人の不安感が他の多くの民族と比較して高いことがすでに明らかになっております。このことは、日本での改善活動や改善提案活動がうまく回り、日本以外への移転が困難な背景になっている可能性があることを示唆しています。国や民族によって異なる不安感の度合いを踏まえた戦略立案が、海外展開を考える企業にとって必要であることも示唆されました。

最終年度では、これまでの研究目的を延長し、不安に関連する概念である危機感が改善成果に与える影響、個人の持続的な改善活動のメカニズム、そして従業員の不安が職場学習やワークエンゲージメントに与える影響について定量的に実証しました。さらに、従業員の不安を察知し、その程度に合わせて策を講じる能力である「経営者の感度」を新概念として紹介した論文の計四本を執筆の上、国際学会で発表し、学会プロシーディングスに掲載しました。さらに研究の成果を東京大学、オランダのUniversity of Twente、イタリアのUniversity of Padova、ベトナムの日越大学、中国の華東師範大学等で発表し大きな反響がありました。これらの研究成果は、製造業界だけでなく、今後さらに世界のビジネス界全体に貢献することが期待されます。
