Outline of Final Research Achievements

The theme of this study is an analysis of SMEs' entry into e-business and its impact on their managerial performance. As a result of the project, one paper has been published in an international academic journal, one English paper is currently under submission, and one Japanese paper has been published in a Kinki University journal of business and economics.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements

海外の戦略的意思決定の研究においては、統計学的手法を用いた実証分析が非常に多く採用され、実際に実務の現場においてもそのような実証分析による結果が意思決定の重要な情報として用いられている。今後日本においても同様の取り組みが期待され、本プロジェクトはその先駆的な研究になると期待される。また、諸外国では日本企業を対象とした学術研究の英語論文としての成果が希少ととらえられており、本研究プロジェクトにより更なる研究成果が海外に発信されるならば、学術的にも高い評価が得られるものと期待される。
