Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This paper is an attempt to elucidate the fundamental issue of analyzing the logic and structure of the "visualization of the classroom" and to elucidate its issues and structural linkages. The study traced the contact point between the warp and weft threads of "education in images and education as images" in educational films. What I focused on was the unique logic of the visual representation of educational documentary films - the unique linkage that intersects between the "logic of images" and the "logic of education. In order to elucidate the unique structure of the "visualization of the classroom," I empirically verified it by analyzing the specific filming techniques of the video materials.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
羽仁進の教室映画と林竹二の授業映画。教育映画として対蹠的な映像表現であるが、画面の「強度・深度・訴求力」において正に比肩しうる両者の作品群を、その制作経過を緻密に比較することによって、「授業の映像(映画)化とは何か」という根本命題の解明に導いた。 本研究は「教育映画」における固有の教育学的文脈の解析という課題に初めて取り組み、その切り口として撮影技法/撮影構想に着眼した先駆的試みである。教育哲学・映像教育学を深化させるだけでなく研究の視界を大胆に拡げ、新たな地平を独創的に拓いた成果である。
