Outline of Final Research Achievements

Child abuse and poverty are becoming more serious. For this reason, TIC (Trauma Informed Care)has become indispensable in practical settings such as education and welfare. The purpose of this study is to investigate the foundation of childcare practices rooted in TIC in order to prevent and reduce developmental risks. In this study, we conducted a questionnaire survey on trauma in childcare settings and an interview survey with local childcare supporters. As a result, we were able to gain knowledge about the actual situation of children who are concerned about the effects of trauma in childcare settings, as well as the practical knowledge of local child-rearing supporters.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements
