Outline of Final Research Achievements

The purpose of this research project was to investigate and clarify what kind of evaluation viewpoints and evaluation methods should be adopted when Japanese language culture is used as teaching materials in Japanese language education. As a result, we focused on haiku, poetry, dialects, and other aspects of Japanese language culture, and proposed a new evaluation perspective and evaluation method for their study and instruction.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements

本研究の成果は、報告書「言語文化の学習指導に関する評価観・評価方法の研究」にまとめられた。学校教育において日本の言語文化を教材として取り上げるにあたって、学習指導でどのような評価観をもち、どのような評価方法をとるべきかは未開拓の問題であった。本報告書では、そうした課題について具体的な提案をしている点に学術的意義が認められる。一例を示すと、特別支援教育において言語文化としての「俳句」教材を取り上げた植山は、俳句の創作に自己認識や自己表現があることを見いだした。
