| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This study focuses on the potential disadvantages posed by multifaceted university entrance examinations for students from regional high schools and those with disabilities. It aims to clarify the institutional development of such systems through three analyses: university admissions during the COVID-19 pandemic, the evolution of accommodations for students with disabilities, and high school students’ awareness of entrance reforms. The findings highlight the importance of ensuring fairness in entrance system design. To truly embrace diversity, future entrance examinations must be structured flexibly to accommodate individual and regional circumstances.
