Outline of Final Research Achievements

In this study, we developed a practical instructional material to enhance the essential visual design skills for creating presentation slides. This instructional material focuses on three elements: text layout, object layout, and color scheme. Through repeated practice questions within the material, learners can enhance their awareness of better layout and color choices, leading to skill improvement in practical visual design. We designed and implemented this instructional material as a tablet application (iOS).

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements

プレゼンテーション（以下プレゼン）における資料の視覚デザインスキルは、自らのアイデアや考えを表現する力として日常生活から教育研究・ビジネスなど様々な場面で求められる。特に紙面や画面で画像やテキストを配置する力は、豊かで正確なプレゼン力に直結する。プレゼン資料のデザインスキルついては、書籍等が充実しつつある一方で、実践力を磨く学びの場は十分ではない。そこで申請者はプレゼンテーション資料作成における実践型視覚デザインを学ぶことができる教材を開発した。本教材はデザイン指導人員が十分とは言えない指導現場においても視覚デザインを学ぶ機会を提供できる教材となることが期待される。
