Outline of Final Research Achievements

This study aimed to explore a common data collection framework to enable big data collection by multiple institutions in the field of student counseling. In 2020, we investigated data collection methods at various universities and reviewed literature on common data sets used in the U.S. In 2021, we conducted preliminary research and a survey of 32 universities to examine current data collection practices. In 2022, we created the "Common Data Set Manual for Student Counseling Agencies Version 1.0." In 2023, we visited the Center for Collegiate Mental Health at Pennsylvania State University to establish a data collection network.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements

本研究は、学生相談におけるビッグデータを活用するためのデータ収集の共通の枠組みを開発し、臨床心理学的介入の評価と改善方法を模索するものである。学術的意義として、複数の大学にまたがる大規模データの集積と分析が可能となり、エビデンスに基づく心理学的介入の新たな知見を提供できる。社会的意義として、学生相談の質向上と効果的な支援方法の確立に寄与し、相談機関間の協力を促進する基盤を整える点が重要である。この枠組みにより、学生相談実践の向上に寄与する研究が促進されることが期待される。また、データの安全な取り扱いと倫理的配慮を行うことで、信頼性の高い研究基盤を構築することができる。
