We examined the potential of running navigation through experimental investigation using the device developed in this study. The navigation using the gyro-moment is accomplished through motion assistance and/or haptic presentations.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
ジャイロモーメントを応用した疾走時の運動支援ならびに進路誘導に関する研究例は少ない．陸上競技場における疾走およびそのトレーニングにおいて我々が開発を続けるシステムを使用することで，視覚障がい者が伴走者の力を借りず単独でそれらの運動を実施できる可能性を見出した．視覚障がい者が伴走者の力を借りずその支援からの解放されることは社会的に大きな意義がある．
