Outline of Annual Research Achievements

生物試料の入手困難、出張の困難から、研究全体の進行が遅滞したものの、入手済試料からのデータ蓄積を行った。メタバーコーディングドライ解析用のパイプラインを見直すなどの作業を進めた。加えて、高速並列シーケンサーの機種を変更するために、実験プロトコルの改定を行った。

Reason

COVID-19感染拡大により、標本収集、研究協力者との打ち合わせ、協力先を訪問しての実験や、試料提供を受けることなど、研究活動全般に制約を受けたため

Strategy for Future Research Activity

必要量の生物試料を得るために、野外収集よりも実験室内飼育により代替することを模索する。そのために国内の研究者の協力を得る。

Causes of Carryover

元々、備品として顕微鏡の新規購入を予定していたが、申請額に対して交付額に対して決定額がかなり小さかったため、これを購入すれば、必要な試薬を購入できなくなることから、年度内の備品調達を断念した。
また、COVID-19により出張が難しくなり、研究の進行全体が遅滞した。このため出張費、消耗品費とも想定した使用額に達しなかった。
