Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
During this fiscal year, I could reveal Dual effect of bleomycin on lung injury and mediastinal fat-associated lymphoid clusters (MFALCs). Also, we could reveal a possible Crosstalk of the Immune Cells within the Lung and MFALCs in papain induced- Lung Asthma-like Mouse Model. Additionally, we started new experiment for the effect of dexamethasone administration on the lung injury and MFALCs.

Current Status of Research Progress |
Current Status of Research Progress
1: Research has progressed more than it was originally planned.
Reason
Due to availability of chemicals from purchased from the previous year
|
Strategy for Future Research Activity |
We are planning to investigate the effect of bleomycin intranasal administration on the lung injury in the lymphoproliferative autoimmune mice model (MRL/Lpr mice) and their control strain (MRL/ MpJ mice). Also, we would like to clarify the ameliorative effect of dexamethasone on the autoimmune lung injury and MFALCs development. Moreover, We are planning to investigate the role of MFALCs in the progression of lung cancer in lung melanoma mice model. Furthermore, we would like to examine the possible immunotherapeutic effect of some lipid nanoparticle targeting immune cells within the MFALCs against lung cancer development.

Causes of Carryover |
We will use all the budget to cover publication fees (500000 Yen), Buying chemicals and mice (250000 yen), and attending domestic and international conference (250000 yen).
