Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Cell morphology showed that ΔSLPI cells had less elongated cell protrusions and a more rounded shape compared to wtSLPI cells, and a decrease in migration ability was observed in ΔSLPI cells by wound healing assay. In three-dimensional culture using collagen gel, the invasive ability of ΔSLPI cells was decreased compared to that of wtSLPI cells. The STR phenotypes of ΔSLPI cells and wtSLPI cells (Ca9-22), from which ΔSLPI cells originated, showed only 30% concordance in STR phenotype, which may be due to the fact that ΔSLPI cells were generated by homologous recombination.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
