Outline of Final Research Achievements

As a stress measurement method, we planned a method to measure stress reaction substances in saliva. However, the spread of COVID-19 has become more serious. So we changed our research plan. In this study, we developed a learning program method to disseminate new care for nurses. The performance required for the system is (1) low cost, and (2) the learner can learn autonomously without an operator. We have created teaching materials that can be accessed from learners' smartphones. This system uses natural language processing technology. For this reason, it was possible to reproduce the feeling of a real nurse more than the conventional system. Based on the results of this research, many educators will be able to create educational materials at low cost in the future.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements

本研究で用いた自然言語処理技術を用いた対話型シミュレーション教育教材は、既存のweb教材で採用されている次の行動や言動を選択する方式に比べ、学習者が自ら思考し、次の行動や言動を入力する必要があり、臨場感が高い。また、学習過程をシステムのログから分析することもでき、学習者の学習過程がより可視化でき、学習者にあわせた教材配置が可能である。また、非常に安価なwebサービスを用いて作成したので、今後汎用展開が可能である。
