| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In order for non-obstetrician-gynecologists and nurses to respond to obstetric care in the event of a disaster, a program was created and implemented to enable them to learn obstetric care in a step-by-step manner. (1) A one-hour lecture aimed at acquiring the knowledge and skills necessary for obstetric care, especially delivery management. (2) Instruction on internal examination techniques and delivery assistance using a maternal simulator as practical training.(3) Teaching suture technique and fetal ultrasound as an option.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
災害発生時、被災地では多数の治療対象者が発生することが予想されるため、医療スタッフはあらゆる疾病に対応しなければならなくなる。分娩をはじめとする産科医療においては特別な知識や技術を要すため、あらかじめ教育を受けておく必要がある。現在、産婦人科医師、助産師、麻酔科医師、救急科医師が参画できる周産期救急の実践教育は存在するが、非産婦人科医師や看護師が主体的に対応にあたる実践教育は行われていない。したがって災害医療として非産婦人科医師と看護師が主体的に産科医療に対応できる教育システムの開発は有意義であると考える。
