Outline of Final Research Achievements |
First, we conducted a literature review on care prevention behaviors and subjective well-being among family caregivers. Next, an interview survey was conducted with family caregivers of elderly persons in need of long-term care to clarify their sense of well-being while caring for their loved ones and their reasons for practicing care prevention behaviors. Finally, a national survey using a questionnaire developed based on the literature review and interview results was conducted to identify factors influencing family caregivers' caregiving prevention behaviors and to construct a model for promoting caregiving prevention behaviors among family caregivers.
