Outline of Final Research Achievements

This research aims to develop an educational support system with an educational control function based on mental characteristic information such as individual personality, mindset, thinking style, view of learning, mood, and mental stress, in addition to learning history and knowledge state. However, even if the mental characteristic information is accumulated, a method to integrate them and reflect them in educational control has not been established. We proposed a weight controlled voting method for realizing them, and designed and developed an educational support system COCORO (COgnitive Characteristics ORiented Online-learning support system) with an educational control module based on mental characteristics information.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements

良い教育支援システムか否かは「どの程度、学習者の状態や状況を把握できるか」という観点から見なければ意味をなさない。従来の教育支援システムにおける学習者情報の取得・推定手法は個別的であり、人間の教師のように多様な視点で学習者を把握できているとは言えない。本研究ではバイアス付き多数決法を用いた教育支援システムCOCOROの試作を通して、多面的な心的特性情報に基づき教育制御機能を持つ教育支援システムの基本的な設計方法と実現方法を明らかにした。
