Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This study systematically researched the philosophy of the French philosopher Henri Maldiney through elucidation of its position in the history of philosophy and its basic concepts. Regarding the position, we have clarified its status among the contemporaries, including Erwin Strauss, Gilles Deleuze, and Marc Richir, and in the Franco-German phenomenological tradition, and the influence of German idealism and others on its philosophy. In terms of the basic concepts, we have clarified Maldiney’s elaboration of relatively general concepts such as rhythm, sensation, and landscape, which have been essential in his long career, and based on this, we have clarified the significance and usage of his original concepts such as transpossibility and transpassiblity.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
