Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The central research achievement of this study lies in the analysis of Biblical epic poetry from the late antiquity period, focusing on aspects such as the structural composition of the works and their influences from classical literature. Specifically, examination was conducted on Biblical epic poetry from the New Testament, including Juvenal's "Evangeliorum Libri Quattuor," Sedulius's "Carmen Paschale," and Arator's "Historia Apostolica." While it is natural to reference Virgil as a significant model for Latin epic poetry, these Biblical epic poems exhibit influences from other poets, particularly Ovid, and also showcase distinctive features different from traditional classical epic poetry. Some of the findings have been published as part of general literature works, contributing to the broader understanding of Biblical epic poetry.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
