Outline of Final Research Achievements |
There are two patterns of contextual development in which functional words with 'mono' as a component are used. One is in a context in which the speaker is describing a target event that he or she perceives as unusual, and which annotatively indicates an ordinary event. The other is in a context where the speaker describes a target event that he or she perceives as unusual, and then expresses the speaker's evaluation and judgement, such as awareness, impression, explanation of background circumstances, denial, etc. The expressive intent common to all these function words is to express the speaker's evaluation or judgement that the target event is unusual, such as not as it should be, different from the usual, different from most, or difficult to understand or accept.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
