Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
The Young Adult Multicultural Story (YAMS) anthology presents six bilingual stories created, translated, and illustrated with 100% human, undergraduate student labor. Students also graded stories into three levels (stages). The collection is now a bilingual literature circle, translanguaging, and creative writing research dataset. The final two stories of this project were completed in 2023. Kondo's 'The Thing about Being Strong', and Ye's 'The Gifts of Luna' StudioCLA.org/stories. The dataset can be cited as follows: Sevigny, P. and Manabe, S. (Eds) 2023. Young Adult Multicultural Stories. (Version 1) [Data set]. StudioCLA.
