| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
The objective of this study was (i) to develop a heterogenous-firms model of international trade and inventory management; (ii) estimate the model using firm-level data. During the last year we worked on improving the empirical part of our paper. In particular, we came up with an empirical strategy to demonstrate the key mechanisms featured in the theoretical part of the paper, and we found additional data sources that we need for our empirical strategy. Using these data sources we obtained preliminary estimates and confirmed that our empirical strategy works.
