Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
I achieved most of my key objectives in FY2021. First, I completed the main data analysis phase of the project. Second, I presented my results at two online academic conferences (the 44th JSICR conference in June 2021 and Japanese Politics Online Seminar Series in Oct 2021). Third, I published the findings of two analyses in two peer-reviewed international academic journals (Journal of Refugee Studies and Health Communication). Last, I also submitted the results of another analysis to another academic journal for publication, which is currently under review.

Current Status of Research Progress |
Current Status of Research Progress
3: Progress in research has been slightly delayed.
Reason
The project was slightly delayed due to COVID-19 as some academic conferences were cancelled. Thus, the project was extended for one more year until the end of FY2022.
|
Strategy for Future Research Activity |
In FY2022, I will focus on consolidating the findings of the research project and revising and resubmitting the third paper that is currently under review.
|
Causes of Carryover |
There was no travelling cost in FY2021 due to COVID-19. The incurring amount will be used for further data analysis and result publishing.
