| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
The project proceeded mostly as planned in FY2022. The third paper of the project was accepted by the Journal of Information and Communication Research and is scheduled to be published in the coming issue. The finding of fourth paper of the project was also presented at the 79th Annual Midwest Political Science Conference in April 2022.

3: Progress in research has been slightly delayed.
Reason
The project was slightly delayed due to COVID-19 as some academic conferences were cancelled. Thus, the project was extended for one more year until the end of FY2023.

| Strategy for Future Research Activity |
In FY2023, I will present the updated version of the fourth paper of the project at the 48th JSICR conference in July and submit it to an academic journal for publication.

| Causes of Carryover |
There was no travelling cost in FY 2022 due to COVID-19. The incurring amount will be used for presenting and publishing the results in FY2023.
