| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
The materials for the survey were completed.After an evaluation regarding ethical conduct in research, I received approval to start data collection from the Institutional Review Board at Otemon Gakuin University.Data collection started, currently I have data from 522 participants from the USA.
A big corpus of song lyrics was also collected, and data analysis on this corpus has started, preliminary results of it were presented at the 85th Annual convention of the Japanese Psychological Association. Tokyo, Japan; and at the annual convention of Society for personality and Social Psychology. San Francisco, CA, USA.

3: Progress in research has been slightly delayed.
Reason
Before resuming survey data collection, a new approval from the Institutional Review board is necessary since I moved to another institution. The documents are in preparation.
Data analysis on the data that was collected is being conducted.

| Strategy for Future Research Activity |
Once the approval from the Institutional Review Board at Kyoto University is received, data collection will resume. Data from Japan, the United States, and Brazil will be collected.
A research article will be written and submitted to an academic journal.
A presentation at the next annual convention of Society for personality and Social Psychology is planned.

| Causes of Carryover |
Data collection was delayed twice, due to the covid-19 pandemics and because the main investigator moved to a new institution. It started in the first institution and should resume in the current one.
