Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
昨年度に引き続き,すばる望遠鏡の広視野カメラ Hyper Suprime-Cam (HSC) 画像を高解像度化させ,遠方銀河の形態研究を行なった.高解像度化HSC画像を用いて,遠方銀河を合体銀河と孤立銀河に形態分類し,静止系紫外線で明るい銀河の合体率を測定した.研究結果を学術論文に纏め,論文を専門誌に投稿した.論文投稿後,合体銀河の検出における,完全性 (completeness),汚染率 (contamination rate),前景/背景銀河の写り込みの効果 (chance projection effect) の見積もり方法等を微修正し,論文を専門誌に掲載受理させることができた (Shibuya et al. 2022). 上記研究では,HSC画像を古典的手法で高解像度化させている.古典的手法に加えて今年度は,スパースモデリングに基づく画像高解像度化ソフトウェアを開発した.本手法では,点像分布関数の逆畳み込み手法に疎性および平坦性の制約条件を加えている.本ソフトウェアでHSCデータを解析したところ,古典的手法と同等かそれ以上の解像度まで,HSC画像を高解像度化させることができた.さらに,銀河形態推定用の機械学習ソフトウェアの開発も同時に進めており,現在,性能評価および改良を行なっている.これらの新しいソフトウェアを用いて,遠方銀河形態の環境依存性に関する研究を開始した.

スパースモデリング,機械学習に基づく画像高解像度化および銀河形態推定ソフトウェアを用いて,遠方銀河形態の環境依存性に関する研究を行う.研究結果を学術論文に纏める.

Causes of Carryover |
世界的半導体不足により,購入予定のコンピュータを年度内に確保することが出来なかったため.次年度はコンピュータの入手ルートを広げ,早めに購入手続きを行う.
