Keywords | Nanochannels / TEGs |
Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
This work aims to demonstrate a prototype module of an electrolyte thermoelectric power battery based nanochannels. Currently, silicon nanochannels with 15 nm-diameter and 0.2 mm-height have been fabricated successfully by metal-assisted chemical etching.

Current Status of Research Progress |
Current Status of Research Progress
2: Research has progressed on the whole more than it was originally planned.
Reason
Small nanochannel diameter has been achieved although non-uniform nanochannel is a issue. Based on the achievable results of the fabricated nanochannels, thermoelectric generators based electrolyte have been fabricated and evaluated.
|
Strategy for Future Research Activity |
More optimization on the fabrication method is conducting to solve the issue of non-uniform nanochannel. Also, a new proposal method to achieve smaller diameter of nanochannel need to be considered.
|
Causes of Carryover |
Due to COVID-19, some plans are changed.
