Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Comparative transcriptome analysis was performed using pear seeds before and after cold treatment. We obtained about 4.56 Gb of sequencing data per sample and about 45,630,000 reads. 9-cis-epoxycarotenoid dioxygenase (NCED) gene, ABSCISIC ACID-INSENSITIVE-5 (ABI-5) gene, and DELLA protein GAI (GAI) gene were selected as genes whose expression level decreased after low-temperature treatment.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
