Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We conducted questionnare survey among postgraduate residents who undertook rotation in the psychiatry department at Nagasaki University Hospital across two academic years from April 2020. In total, 99 residents responded to this survey. Residents appeared to improve their understanding and confidence in initial treatment of psychiatry-related competency items. Residents can acquire a more positive perception towards psychiatric disease. Residents exhibited increased readiness toward interprofessional learning. Mandatory psychiatry rotation is reasonable and worthwhile, and may constitute an essential and effective part of the residency curriculum.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
