Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Using a real-time visualization technique of lymphatic flow by photoacoustic imaging, we quantitatively captured the representative movement of lymphatic flow in healthy subjects, verified the accuracy of the measurement, and conducted a basic study toward establishing a quantification algorithm applicable to human subjects.

リンパ浮腫の診断、手術計画、治療前後の評価においてリンパ管の機能を定量的に評価することが求められている。本研究を通じて光音響イメージングを用いて生体内のリンパ流の定量的な把握・評価が可能となれば侵襲性が低くさらに精緻な診断ができる可能性が示された。
