Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The purpose of this study is to observe the dynamics of HMGB1 related to Autophagy, which is one of the factors that inhibit Apoptosis, and to contribute to the development of antineoplastic drugs. First, we observed Autophagy in normal human keratinocytes.Next, HMGB1 A-Box, an antagonist of HMGB1, was administered to normal human keratinocytes and cell lines isolated from human malignant melanoma, and changes in autophagy were observed. No clear inhibitory effect of Autophagy was observed compared to before administration of HMGB1 A-Box1.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
