Current Status of Research Progress |
Current Status of Research Progress
2: Research has progressed on the whole more than it was originally planned.
Reason
The qualitative study on Okikamuro Island, Yamaguchi Prefecture, progressed smoothly. Despite approaching 24 elderly residents, only 14 agreed to participate. The COVID-19 pandemic posed challenges to data collection, as we had to adhere to specific protocols. We surveyed 410 senior citizens in Pampanga, Philippines, about their healthcare access and health-related quality of life. Additionally, we conducted six focus groups to explore the use of telepharmacy among Filipino senior citizens.
