Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We conducted an ABC analysis of the results of a survey of nursing workload in wards with a 7-to-1 basic hospitalization fee calculation, and visualized the tasks that require the most time. In addition, an ABC analysis of the results for the past 12 years revealed that there was almost no change in the top-ranked tasks, suggesting that nursing tasks are not becoming more efficient. Based on the survey, we prepared a business master, developed an application, conducted a field survey, and determined the practical feasibility of voice input. Furthermore, we found that it could be implemented as a tool to record nursing practices in medical settings. In the future, it will be necessary to urgently solve issues such as noise processing, methods for controlling voices other than the input user, information security measures, and information literacy education for staff as voice input devices used in medical institutions.
