Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This study was funded to conduct a step test without movement as an exercise test that can be performed in a small space in COPD patients, and to examine its feasibility as an assessment of exercise tolerance. As basic research for this study, the 2-minute step test (2MST) was examined in healthy subjects, and high validity and reliability were obtained. However, although it was planned to conduct this study in a hospital after the above basic research, the spread of the new coronavirus infection since 2020 has made it difficult to conduct exercise tests with COPD patients, and data on COPD patients was not obtained.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
