Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This study aims to examine the impact of introducing standing desks on learning efficiency among Japanese primary school students. Specifically, the study targeted children aged 9-12 years (grades 4 to 6). The students were asked to engage in memory tasks either in a seated posture or a standing posture. Overall, the study concluded that the use of standing desks, combined with active breaks, can be an effective strategy to enhance student well-being without compromising learning efficiency.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
