Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
I have moved to management office for 1 year (2023/5/1-2024/4/30). I do not have much time to complete this project. So I extended this project to finish in this year. However, I found that IL-6 and IL1b gene expression in Payer's patch was significantly increased in stress mice. Payer`s patch is a part of intestine that it may be a key important of relationship of immune system and microflora. I also had a poster presentation in 日本睡眠学会第45回定期学術集会・第30回日本時間生物学会学術大会 合同大会 on September 16th, 2023 for investigating the microbiota-brain-gut axis via the immune system in a mouse model of chronic stress.

Current Status of Research Progress |
Current Status of Research Progress
4: Progress in research has been delayed.
Reason
I took maternity leave in 2022 and then moved to the management office for 1 year (2023/5/1-2024/4/30). I could not do research during maternity leave and have not much time to complete research. So the research plan was delayed. But I plan to complete this research within this year.
|
Strategy for Future Research Activity |
I plan to publish a publication this year. Based on results, I will develop cell-based assay for suppression of IL-6 by induction of TNFa or Il1b in payer`s patch or intestine cell. I will ty to do three kinds of cell types as follows. 1) primary cell from payer`s patch of mice 2) Caco2 cells 3) Caco2 coculture with Raw264.7

Causes of Carryover |
I will use grant for develop cell based-assay in this year (purchase cell line, medium, ELISA kit, qPCR kit for cytokines expression) etc. I will use grant for publication and conference.
